Fast Track Love
🏍️ This is a combined one-on-one training and licence assessment package. Whether you are after your restricted licence or full, this package allows you to undertake two hours of intensive training with one of our instructors, take a short refreshment break and then head straight into your CBTA assessment — all completed in a single three-hour half-day session.
📡 You are provided with a high quality two-way communication device fitted to your helmet for the duration of your training, allowing your instructor to coach you in real time on urban and rural roads.
⏰ This is a great option for experienced riders who are time short and do not have the time to sit a full-day Ride Forever Training course.
👥 One-on-one or one-on-two sessions: Sessions occasionally run with two students. Where this applies, the total session extends to four hours to accommodate the second CBTA assessment. Your two hours of training remains the same — the additional time is solely for the extra assessment and a break between the two tests. The finish time remains the same regardless.
⚠️ Is This Course Right For You? Please Read Before Booking.
This course delivers the best results for riders who are already reasonably confident and experienced on the road, have a good understanding of road rules and traffic, and simply need intensive focused coaching to reach restricted licence standard quickly.
It is not suited to riders who:
- ❌ Have recently passed their learners and have done little or no riding since
- ❌ Have not ridden regularly or have had a long break from riding
- ❌ Have never undertaken any professional motorcycle training before
For these riders, two hours is not enough time to address foundational skills gaps, and the session is likely to end in disappointment. Our full-day Ride Forever courses are specifically designed to build skills progressively and deliver far better outcomes.
Not sure if this is the right course for you? Please email us before booking — we'd rather point you in the right direction than see you leave without your licence.
📝 Please Note: This course does not include pre-course study material or theory components. It is designed for experienced riders with good road knowledge — not as an introduction to motorcycle riding.
🔄 Flexibility Guarantee
If your instructor recommends additional coaching before your assessment, we can convert the assessment hour to an extra hour of training. Please note this means you will leave without having sat your CBTA assessment and will need to rebook and pay for a separate assessment session. As our CBTA assessment fee exceeds our additional training hour rate, the difference will be applied as a credit to your account and can be used against your future assessment booking (valid 6 months, subject to our standard Terms and Conditions). No cash refunds are provided.
📋 What you need to have:
- 🆔 A valid New Zealand Motorcycle Licence (Class 6L or 6R) which does not expire before you sit your CBTA Assessment.
- 🏍️ A fully road-worthy LAMS approved motorcycle. Road-worthy includes but is not limited to: correctly inflated tyres, all lights working, fuel in the tank, and current Registration and WOF.
- 🪖 A legal helmet and ideally protective motorcycle clothing, including jacket, gloves and pants.
📦 Your Half-Day Includes:
- ✅ 2 hours intensive one-on-one training on urban and rural roads
- ✅ Professional two-way communication system fitted to your helmet

📊 After the CBTA Assessment:
🗣️ Your riding performance is discussed, and you will be provided with specific feedback designed to encourage continuing skills development, which may (or may not) include the recommendation that you undertake further training.
🏆 Having successfully completed the CBTA Assessment, you are issued with a pass certificate which you exchange for a Restricted or Full Motorcycle Licence at one of the NZ Licensing Agents such as the AA or VTNZ.
💰 There is an additional cost which you will need to pay at the licensing agent.
