Urban Commuter
If you’re new to riding a motorbike or scooter, mostly ride in an urban environment and want to boost early skills and your safety, these half-day courses are for you.
What you’ll get out of it
A sound understanding of road positioning: to better see and be seen, and its importance in cornering. Improved skills in low-speed manoeuvring and braking. Understanding the right speed and gear for any riding situation.
On the day
After a thorough briefing and safety check you’ll head out onto a mix of urban and rural roads, including some higher speed sections. Practicing skills may take place off-highway with several stops for assessment.
Courses WILL run in wet weather.
Ensure you wear protective motorcycle clothing, top to toe, waterproofs are recommended.
